It doesn't interrupt the flow, and it doesn’t add complexity—it simply gives donors an easy path to choose to give regularly if they’re open to it.

Supporters who have already chosen a gift amount are among the most likely to consider upgrading to a recurring schedule. By introducing the upsell at this specific point in the process—after they’ve decided to give, but before entering details—you surface a relevant choice at a moment when the donor is actively thinking about their impact.
This step works particularly well for donors who select amounts that fit comfortably within recurring ranges (e.g. $15–$250). It gives them a frictionless way to convert their intention into ongoing support, helping organizations grow dependable revenue month over month.
